Strategy Builder Guide
The Strategy Builder lets you create custom trading strategies using a visual interface - no coding required. Combine signal sources, set filters, and automate your trading.
✨ Pro Feature: Free users can create up to 3 strategies. Pro users get up to 10 strategies with advanced automation features.
What is a Strategy?
A strategy is a set of rules that define when to buy or sell tokens. Each strategy consists of:
- Signal Sources - Where trading signals come from (patterns, scanners, wallets)
- Filters - Conditions that must be met (market cap, liquidity, age)
- Actions - What to do when conditions are met (buy amount, slippage)
- Risk Rules - Stop loss, take profit, position limits
Creating a New Strategy
Step 1: Add a New Panel
Click the "+ Add Panel" button in the dashboard to create a new strategy panel. You can have multiple strategies running simultaneously.
Step 2: Choose Signal Sources
Select what triggers your strategy:
📊 W-Pattern
Triggers on AI-detected double-bottom patterns that often precede price pumps
🚀 Moonshot
Triggers on new token launches and volume spikes matching your criteria
🐋 Shadow Trade
Triggers when wallets you're tracking make trades
🔔 Custom Alert
Triggers on price levels, volume thresholds, or time-based conditions
Step 3: Set Your Filters
Configure filters to ensure you only trade quality tokens:

| Min Market Cap | Minimum token market capitalization | $10K - $100K |
| Min Liquidity | Minimum liquidity pool size | $5K - $20K |
| Max Age | How recently the token launched | 24h - 7 days |
| Min Holders | Minimum number of token holders | 50 - 200 |
| Volume 24h | Minimum 24-hour trading volume | $1K - $10K |
Step 4: Configure Actions
Define what happens when a signal matches your filters:
- Buy Amount - SOL to spend per trade (e.g., 0.1 SOL)
- Max Slippage - Maximum acceptable slippage (10-25%)
- Priority Fee - Extra fee for faster execution
- Auto-execute - Automatically buy without confirmation (Pro feature)

🎯 Conservative W-Pattern Hunter
- Signal: W-Pattern Detection
- Min Market Cap: $100,000
- Min Liquidity: $20,000
- Buy Amount: 0.05 SOL
- Slippage: 10%
Good for: Low-risk pattern trading on established tokens
🚀 Aggressive Moonshot Sniper
- Signal: Moonshot Scanner
- Max Age: 1 hour
- Min Holders: 20
- Buy Amount: 0.1 SOL
- Slippage: 25%
Good for: Catching new launches early (higher risk)
🐋 Whale Copy Strategy
- Signal: Shadow Trade (specific whale wallets)
- Action: Copy buy only (not sells)
- Buy Amount: Match 10% of whale's trade
- Delay: 0 seconds (instant copy)
Good for: Following smart money with proven track records
Sharing Strategies
You can share your strategies with other SOL Safe users:
- Click the Share button on your strategy panel
- Choose visibility: Private, Link Only, or Public
- Copy the share link or let others discover it in the community

Importing Strategies
To use a shared strategy:
- Click "+ Add Panel" in your dashboard
- Select "Import Strategy"
- Paste the strategy share link or code
- Review the settings and click "Import"
- Customize the settings to match your risk tolerance
Best Practices
- Start small - Use small buy amounts while testing new strategies
- Diversify - Run multiple strategies with different approaches
- Monitor performance - Check your holdings regularly and adjust
- Set limits - Use SOL reserve to prevent over-trading
- Backtest first - Watch signals for a day before enabling auto-buy
